How to change any of the details for an item or delete it

You can alter or add to, the details or price of any item in your inventory. Go to the room where the item is listed or use the Matched Items report to find it:

To find an item already entered somewhere in the house

Use the powerful report facility. Click on Reports on the very top menu bar, then Matched Items. In the keyword box type a few letters that define your item (as in the search facility). Then click View. The report displayed tells you which rooms that item can be found in.

To change the details

Click on the item in Items in Room box and click Edit (in the Detailed Product Information box, right) to change or add to the details. After making the changes click Update, to update your inventory.

Go to the room where the item is, then either:

• Right mouse click on the item you want to delete. Then choose Delete and OK
• Or select the item by left clicking it once- the item becomes highlighted. Then click Delete in the Detailed Product Information box top right or press the delete key on the keyboard
• You can select multiple items for deletion by clicking in combination with the Shift or Ctrl keys in the normal way.
• Remember, the item and its details are then PERMANENTLY DELETED from your inventory. Any backups remain unaffected of course.
