MyHomeInventory™ for your home contents inventory TheOfficeInventory ™ for your business inventory TheSurgeryInventory™ for medical, dental and veterinary practices Getting the Software:You can buy our inventory software by downloading it to your home PC from this website. (We can send you a CD ROM if you prefer, but buying online is quicker and cheaper). Your computer must be running one of the following: Windows NT4 or later, Windows 95 OSR2 or later, Windows 95 or later with at least Internet Explorer 4, Windows XP. It also needs a minimum screen resolution of 800 x 600. Completing your inventory: Once you have the software on your PC, you can produce an inventory
of all your home or business contents listed by room and value. You
can allocate replacement prices against your possessions from the database
which contains a wide range of replacement prices drawn from major retailers
and specialist suppliers. Regular updates of this database will be available
to subscribers. Managing your inventory:Our products contains many useful features. As you progress you will see the total value of things in your house or business inventory build up. Helpful reports are available to analyse your home inventory in detail. You can also add, delete, modify and move items as you go. Digital images and other data files (such as collections) can be added to your inventory. For subscribers the value of each of the items in your house or apartment inventory can be kept up to date with inflation. To do this simply ask the software to apply to your inventory, a UK Government Retail Price Index (RPI - UK only) specially chosen to reflect the movement in prices of goods. This will adjust the replacement prices of your possessions in line with inflation. Storing your inventory:When you have finished inputting all your items, subscribers can send your inventory to us for safe storage using the 'Send your Inventory' facility in the software. Then, if you have a disaster or lose your data it can be recovered by ringing Secure Inventories with your password on 01600 775 472. See the 'How secure is it?' page for assurance on the security of your data. |
